|Dr. Rocco Servidio is an assistant professor of Psychology at the University of Calabria, Italy. He has involved in two European projects: CoMSON and NetConnect. In the CoMSON project he has worked to evaluate the usability functionalities of the eLearning platform and to experiment new methodological approach for creating educational contents delivered by using eLearning environments. During the NetConnect project the evaluation of Virtual Environments (VEs) usability has been accomplished. The VEs were designed for mobile and desktop applications.
Dr. Servidio’s research interests are on the Media Psychology, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), and cognitive approach to consumer behaviour. More specifically, he is currently working on to explore the social and cognitive impact of media technologies promoting a positive use. The HCI research methods are applied to examine the interaction between final user and system interface. Media psychology and HCI look at the whole system.
